Position Summary

The Cristero Party, a dynamic political movement dedicated to honoring God and renewing society through faithful action, seeks a passionate and visionary National Director of Cristero Party Youth Clubs and Curriculum Development to design, implement, and oversee the curriculum and activities of Cristero Party clubs in Catholic and public high schools across the United States. This role is critical in engaging young people, fostering vibrant clubs that proclaim Christ’s social kingship, and building a grassroots movement among the next generation. The Director will serve as the primary point of contact for school administrators, club leaders, and students, providing guidance and resources to establish and sustain clubs nationwide, starting with a focus in California and expanding to the Midwest and East Coast. Initially a volunteer position, it offers the opportunity to shape a growing movement with the potential for a paid role as the organization expands. Candidates with limited experience are welcome, provided they demonstrate a strong willingness to grow into the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Development: Design a standardized, engaging curriculum that aligns with the Cristero Party’s mission to glorify God and promote Catholic social teaching, tailored to resonate with high school students in both Catholic and public school settings.
  • Club Formation and Support: Initiate and support the establishment of Cristero Party clubs in schools nationwide, conducting outreach to school officials, student leaders, and parents to build partnerships and ensure successful launches.
  • Event and Campaign Coordination: Organize and coordinate events, workshops, and campaigns (e.g., rallies, service projects, or leadership summits) to promote club engagement, party visibility, and youth involvement in the party’s mission.
  • Liaison and Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between local clubs and the national party office, fostering clear communication, addressing challenges, and providing ongoing support to club leaders and members.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Communications, Events and Outreach Coordinator, and other team members to align club activities and curriculum with the party’s national goals, including its aim to qualify for the 2026 California ballot.
  • Training and Oversight: Monitor club performance, provide training for student leaders and advisors, and ensure consistency and adherence to party standards while adapting to diverse school environments and respecting legal and administrative guidelines.
  • Mission Integration: Ensure all club activities and curriculum reflect the Cristero Party’s Catholic identity, incorporating prayer, worship, and teachings on the social kingship of Christ to inspire and unify young supporters.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage budgets for club initiatives, maintain records of club activities and growth, and provide regular updates to the National Chair on program progress and impact.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and engage diverse stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to connect with students, educators, and administrators.
  • Familiarity in curriculum development tools and basic social media for outreach.

Key Responsibilities

This role is critical in mobilizing supporters, amplifying the party’s mission to proclaim Christ’s social kingship, and building a vibrant grassroots movement. Starting with two major rallies per year in Los Angeles, the Coordinator will lay the foundation for expansion to the Midwest and East Coast, creating inspiring, faith-driven events that unite communities and advance the party’s goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Event Vision and Strategy: Design and execute a strategic plan for rallies and conferences, starting with two annual events in Los Angeles, each attracting hundreds to thousands of attendees, with a focus on inspiring Catholic values, political engagement, and community action.
  • Event Planning and Logistics: Oversee all aspects of event production, including venue selection, budgeting, vendor coordination (e.g., AV, catering, security), permitting, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Speaker and Program Coordination: Curate compelling lineups of speakers, including Catholic leaders, political figures, and grassroots voices, to deliver talks that align with the party’s mission. Develop schedules blending keynotes, workshops, and interactive sessions to energize attendees.
  • Outreach and Mobilization: Collaborate with roles like the Standard-Bearer of the Assembly and Captain of the Petition Legion to promote events, recruit volunteers, and drive attendance through parish networks, Catholic organizations, and social media campaigns. Build relationships with local communities to expand the party’s grassroots presence.
  • Expansion Planning: Develop a roadmap for scaling rallies to the Midwest and East Coast, identifying target cities, venues, and local partners to extend the party’s reach while maintaining a consistent mission-driven experience.
